Dave Bautista’s ‘Trap House’ Wraps Filming With New Set Images

Dave Bautista is building a diverse filmography by choosing a variety of roles, from the lovable Drax in the MCU to Glossu Rabban Harkonnen in the dune franchise His next role will see him as an undercover DEA agent in the upcoming action thriller Trap House. The actor took to Instagram today to announce the production wrap for the feature he also produced.

The actor posted a collage of pictures with the cast and crew, captioning it, “This is a Trap House wrap! This movie has been one hell of a ride.” The black-and-white footage shows the entire cast together and some behind-the-scenes shots. He also gave a shout out to everyone: “Love and respect to the cast, crew and my fellow producers. Congratulations team! We did it!”

Trap House follows an undercover DEA agent (Bautista) and his partner in El Paso, Texas, in a game of cat and mouse with a surprising enemy: their teenage sons. These teenagers appropriated their parents' tactics and intelligence to pull off daring heists, robbing a dangerous cartel. It will be fun to see the dynamics of this role, as we have never seen the actor working with a group of teenagers before.

The team behind 'Trap House'

Trap House is run by Michael Dowsewhich he previously directed Arnold Schwarzenegger– driven FUB which was recently renewed for a second season. His other credits include It's all over Pete Tong, take me home tonight starring Chris Pratt i Anna Farisi to continue starring Seann William Scott, Jay Baruchel, i Liev Schreiber. He directs from a script by Fast & Furious creator Gary Scott Thompson i Hitman's bodyguard fame Tom O'Connor.

Along with Bautista, the film has also cast Bobby Cannavale, who is known for the NBC series Third watch, Nurse Jackiei Boardwalk Empire to name a few. The young cast includes Jack Championwho gained international attention as the teenage Spider who inhabits Pandora James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water. this star Sophia Lillis is also in the cast. She was last seen last year Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. They also complete the cast Kate del Castillo (Bad boys for life), Whitney Peak (gossip girl), along with Inde Navarrette, Zaire Adams i Blu del Barrio. With a talented cast and an exciting premise, the feature will be one to watch.
