However, despite some unfavorable reviews regarding character and story development, it's actually a decent movie, with hundreds of thousands of people still loving this latest installment.

Follow the remaining Gladers, along with the help of their new allies from the previous film, as they try to save their captured friends and put an end to the evils of WCKD. Regardless of its divisive popularity, its brilliant cast performances, outstanding special effects, and action-packed scenes were a fitting end to the initial trilogy for many.. O'Brien is, of course, a true standout of the series and its efforts The Cure of Death they are remarkable — especially considering he was seriously injured doing his own stunts.

9 'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials' (2015)

Although not as popular as its predecessor, it still did relatively well according to Rotten Tomatoes for its performances and engaging script. Considered worse than the first by some but better by others, its main point of criticism stemmed from its lack of fidelity to the source material.

The Scorch Trials it's a movie that no one seemed to agree on quality. But despite its mixed reception, it broke box office records, earning $312,296,056 worldwide., achieving instant commercial success. This factor, along with its ability to hook you and leave you reeling to see how it all ends, is enough to make it an enjoyable ride.

8 “Flashback” (2020)

Flashback is an intriguing mystery film by Christopher MacBride in which Dylan shines as the main character. Alternatively titled The Education of Fredrick Fitzellthe 97-minute thriller follows Fred as he experiences flashbacks to his high school days, specifically, a girl who mysteriously disappeared when he was a student.

The film premiered at the Sitges Film Festival in 2020 and received quite mixed reviews. Still, it's filled with enough mystery and shrouded in questions that will keep the audience anticipating what's to come at every turn. As always, however, O'Brien's performance must be mentioned; even though the movie isn't objectively greatthe star still elevates it by bringing his character to life believably.

7 “The Maze Runner” (2014)

The first installment in The maze runner trilogy, a series of science fiction adventure films inspired by James DashnerThe popular book series (as mentioned above) describes a world where the only hope for humanity is a group of young people immune to a deadly virus after the planet is devastated by a solar flare.


In the first installment of the franchise, we meet Thomas (O'Brien) as he is introduced to a group of boys trapped within the high walls of a seemingly inescapable wooded area. The only way out? An apparently inescapable labyrinth. What could go wrong? Highly entertaining and certainly one of the best dystopian sci-fi films of the 2010s, The maze runner remains a milestone in O'Brien's career. While Thomas wasn't his breakout role, it was certainly a standout that helped launch his career even further.

6 “It's Not Right” (2022)

The second film of 2022 starring the talented Dylan O'Brien and Zoey Deutsch on the other side is the dark comedy-drama social media satire titled it's not good. The story follows Deutch's troubled and questionable character Danni Sanders, an aspiring influencer who finds herself caught up in a hellish lie that quickly spirals out of control.


it's not good explores the dangerous ambition to be famous at any cost, with its protagonist no matter how to get there. Danni sinks deeper and deeper into a web of maddening lies when her online followers believe she survived a terrorist attack that wasn't even close. She does nothing to draw attention away from herself and even takes advantage of the tragic accident, basically feeding off of it. While this 2022 film is by no means complex, it still manages to send thought-provoking messages. O'Brien shines as the protagonist's crush.

5 'Teen Wolf' (2011-2017)

Teen Wolf is one of those 2010s shows where every teenager wished they had claws and fangs, and for good reason. After all, what teenager didn't want to be part of the pack with Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O'Brien), Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin), Lydia Martin (Holland Roden), Allison Argent (Crystal cane), Issac Lahey (Daniel Sharman), and the rest of the team?

The show ran on MTV for six seasons between 2011 and 2017, gaining a wide fan base over the years, even leading to a movie release in January of this year. Although many felt it wouldn't be the same because Stiles wouldn't be returning to the film, his presence in the series left quite a lasting impression. Certainly, Stiles and his humanity in a show full of supernatural creatures really was the heart Teen Wolf – and all thanks to O'Brien's incredible performance.

2 “Bumblebee” (2018)

If you're a fan of constant expansion Treformers franchise, chances are you've seen this popular installment from 2018. Just a few years ago, a solo film about everyone's favorite yellow Transformer was released to critical and commercial acclaim. The story centers around the titular character as he finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Meanwhile, Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld) discovers the broken and battle-scarred character.

Bumblebee may have only had about three minutes of speaking time in the title role. But the amount of personality that Dylan brought to an otherwise speechless character briefly showcases his vocal talent. and he has many fans who wish he would voice him again one day. We can only wait.

This little gem was a delightful surprise when it was released. With its original story, strong plot, Oscar-nominated performances and special effects, the film was a total success on all fronts. And what many thought was going to be another cheesy monster hunting movie exceeded expectations and became so much more, with O'Brien holds the spotlight throughout and puts his survival skills to the test.

Love and monsters follows Dylan O'Brien's character Joel Dawson and his four-legged companion, Boy, as they travel 85 miles across the treacherous surface to find Aimee (played by Jessica Henwick), with whom he lost contact when the world ended seven years earlier. It's an incredibly sweet story full of excitement, comedy and everything you need to make a memorable movie.
