While she doesn't win him over like Kate does, Edwina is still nothing but caring and considerate. At first she might feel hurt when she realized that her sister and Anthony were with each other. However, once Edwina learns to accept their relationship, she fully supports it in a way that many would not. Although overshadowed by Kate, Edwina remains crucial to Season 2, even if her role is basically that of an obstacle.
9 Prudence Featherington
Played by Bessie Carter
Prudence Featherington (Bessie Carter) may not be as smart as other women among them, but she's come a long way since swooning in front of the queen during her society debut. Prudence and her sister had a hard time finding husbands, especially after Marina (Ruby Barker) was revealed to be pregnant, in turn ruining the Featheringtons' reputation.
Although Prudence became engaged to Jack in Season 2, they do not marry, which leads her to be on the hunt for a husband again. Like her sister, everything Philippa (Harriet Cains) wanted since season 1 was to get married. He soon finds his match in Albion Finch (Lorne Macdonald), a gentleman who is madly in love with her. Their sheer connection makes it clear that they are meant to be, but it takes her a while to get her wish due to her family's financial struggles.
In Season 2, she is finally able to plan her wedding to Albion, and is more than happy to be with someone who isn't rich. Her naïve and superficial self is what makes people find her funny, especially when she is competing for the title of Lady Featherington with her sister. Philippa may never take the spotlight, though is a scene-stealing characterespecially when their inexperience and naivety come to light.
7 Cressida Cowper
Played by Jessica Madsen
Introduced as a mean and flamboyant debutante, Cressida Cowper (Jessica Madsen) has surprisingly become a more relatable character in her third year as a single. In season 3, it becomes clear that his sudden friendship with Eloise (Claudia Jessie) has more than an effort to annoy Penelope. Beneath Cressida's feathered shoulder pads is a girl who just wants to find a suitable partner to attend dances and buy clothes she likes.
Cressida might have started out as a stereotypical regency bad girl, but she's evolved quite a bit as a character. With her parents pressuring her to find a husband soon, especially since she is an only child and they are not doing well financially, viewers can't help but sympathize with her and I hope she finds a suitor closer to her age. It's also been sweet that Cressida confides in Eloise like she never did with other girls with each other, truly considering her the loyal friend she never had growing up.
6 Brimsley
Played by Hugh Sachs
The Queen's right-hand man may be silent most of the time, but he's always by her side, both physically and as an unlikely friend. In Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, Brimsley's character is further developed, showing him meeting the sovereign on her arrival to marry the king. Although his position only allows him to be five steps behind her at all times, Brimsley still shows that he cares in several instances, especially when her marriage is affected by her husband's mental health.
In BridgertonBrimsley's role is reduced to just a few one-liners here and there. Even so, the few times he does share his thoughts, it's always to appease the queen. Although Brimsley has to keep his distance and follow protocol, viewers can tell that if he could, he wouldn't mind comforting her with a hug whenever she's upset. Brimsley's romance Queen Charlotte and its cheeky, if underused, demeanor Bridgerton make him a scene-stealing character, for sure.
5 Queen Charlotte

It is crazy to remember that Queen Charlotte (Golda Rocheuvel) is a character that was not present in the books that inspired the Netflix series. Her presence on the show, with her elaborate wigs and difficult temper, has become such a vital part of the story that it would be impossible to think of Ton without her.
Each season, the Queen is meticulous in choosing the young ladies of the marriage market to endorse, and despite her decisions to match these ladies to knights they end up not falling in love with, her dedication is entertaining to watch. After Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story offered an in-depth look at the character's origin story, viewers couldn't help but watch Bridgerton and sympathize with her further.
4 Hyacinth Bridgerton
Performed by Florence Hunt
The youngest of the Bridgerton family, Hyacinth (Florence Hunt) has limited screen time. Alas, he always brings joy to the room whenever he joins his brothers for a game of cards or accompanies them to a meeting at the palace. Given her age, she is curious about everything her siblings are up to, often asking them questions about what it's like to be in love or offering a blunt comment (especially when it comes to Eloise's lack of dancing skills).
The younger Bridgerton is also surprisingly observant and has made many accurate observations about her siblings' romances. Although she'll likely be the last of the group to be swept up in romance, Hyacinth's sense of humor and quick wit will continue to shine through until it's time to introduce her to the Queen. Maybe it doesn't have much to do, though Hyacinth does the most with the little time she gets in the spotlight.
3 Violet Bridgerton
Performed by Ruth Gemmell
Lady Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell) married for love, and it is clear that her positive experience of finding a husband was an example for her eight children. Her decision not to remarry and focus on her children's future shows how much she misses her late partner. Her calm nature and keen eye for the happiness of her sons and daughters is what makes her one of the most underrated members of the Tone.
From giving Daphne advice during her conflict with the Duke to now showing Colin that he can accept his feelings for Penelope, Violet knows exactly the right time to step in and give her kids a little push. Violet is the ultimate supporting character, never taking too much focus but still making every intervention meaningful and crucial to the plot. In fact, Violet doesn't get the appreciation she deserves for being the heart of her family.
2 Portia Featherington
Played by Polly Walker
Unlike Violet, Portia Featherington (Polly Walker) is a mother who also cares for her daughters, but in an admittedly flawed way. She is determined to get good marriages for her girls, not only to see them happy, but because of her husband's financial instability. His mismanagement has almost left the Featheringtons in chaos, and if it weren't for Portia's quickness to find a solution, they would have lost everything.
Although she schemes to get money with Jack's help and forges a document to ensure that the family estate stays in the family, all of her actions are a product of her survival instinct. Although she may be mean to Penelope and pressure her daughters to produce an heir to maintain her status, viewers can somewhat understand Portia's desire to protect what is hers at a time he was not so kind to women.
1 Lady Danbury

Of all the members of the Ton, Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) is by far the most nuanced and empowered character to roam the ballrooms. How does it look like? Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, she had the misfortune of marrying a man she didn't care for and who frequently abused her. If it wasn't for her drive to stand up for herself and the effort to befriend the queen, she wouldn't have been able to achieve the level of respect she has as a widow.
Lady Danbury is very observant and, like her friend Violet, is not afraid to pry into other people's lives when they need encouragement. If it wasn't for her, Simon would never have gotten over his childhood trauma and been open to becoming a father to Daphne.
