Girl 15 Spiked At Party In Cleethorpes

Seven people have been arrested after a 15-year-old girl was Spiked at a party in Cleethorpes and taken to hospital

15-year-old girl reported to police that she was spiked at a party in Cleethorpes. She was taken to hospital and was later discharged.

On Friday Night Police were called to Daubney Street, Cleethorpes after reports of a disturbance in the street.

Police officers were called at around 9.20pm and when they arrived, they discovered a 15-year-old girl in distress. The young girl claimed that she had been spiked at party she attended.

Humberside police have confirmed that seven people have been arrested in connection to the incident. All seven of those arrested have now been released on bail as Humberside police continue with their enquiries.

The girl who reported she was spiked at the party was taken to hospital to receive medical treatment and was later discharged.

Detective Sergeant Connolly from Humberside Police, who is leading the investigation, said: “I understand this will be concerning for our Cleethorpes residents and I can assure you that our investigation is ongoing.

“We are conducting a number lines of enquiry as we look to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident, including reviewing CCTV footage, and speaking with locals in the area. A search of a property was also conducted.

“I would ask that if anyone saw or heard anything or has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident that has not yet spoken to us to please get in touch.

This is not the first report of people being spiked in Cleethorpes, there have been several reports. Drinks being spiked has become a huge problem around Lincolnshire including in Skegness, Boston and Lincoln. But it is not just Lincolnshire that has seen a growing number of reports of drinks being spiked. This has become a national problem.
