Poll: Who do you like? Warriors or Panthers?
Test: Tago breaks the deadlock
And Nico's Nostradamus barely tipped Penrith to prevail, but Izack Tago followed with what could have been the breakthrough try in the 67th minute. Jarome Luai back in the thick of things until then, a very impressive day at No. 7 for him, even among all of Penrith's mistakes.
It's Jack Cole on the right with Dylan Edwards stepping in to create the overlay and Tago doing the rest. No Edwards conversion, but it's still a four-point game.

Nicolussi: The scores are even, but Penrith is at home
Critical penalties pile up on Warriors
Penrith on the move now thanks to a seven-innings run from a kick from Te Maire Martin that goes long. And then Jackson Ford is called for a standup that kicks a penalty.
Luai, making them tidy up, jumps, skips early and Sunia Turuva loses the ball as she shoots for a corner. Another penalty, however, for a high tackle by CNK when denying an attempt by Turuva. The dance continues.

Trial: Yeo returns and levels up
Isaah Yeo is back and Penrith is back at 13. But the Warriors have their stories up and are pounding the edges of the Panthers, youngster Ali Leiataua, the nephew of club icon Ali Lauiti'iti, almost made it through again. Only a desperate goal line defense denies him.
Penrith are attacking soon after but are still clumsy, although Luai is threatening when he runs. And that's what sets up the next attempt.
Luai makes a quick play on the ball and then Mitch Kenny sends Yeo through a yawning gap near the ruck. Dylan Walker misreads the play and Yeo has five meters either side to work with. So mark. Return to level again.

Try: Warriors dismantle Penrith's 12-man defence
And another! The Wahs are fine. It's a carbon copy of the last attempt, right on the other side. Te Maire Martin isolates his namesake Liam in the Panthers' 12-man defensive line. And then it's shelling peas, Adam Pompey crosses to score. The Warriors are in front for the first time with half an hour to play. Taine Tuaupiki also converts to a six-point lead.

Sin bin: Warriors score after Yeo is sent off
Three minutes into the second half and Penrith are down to 12 men. Isaah Yeo with cynical contact after a quick tap from Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad. That's 10 minutes every day of the week. And moments later, the Warriors are there. I love it.
Dylan Walker played a very Isaah Yeo-esque role up front, linking up with his halves before Ali Leiataua was driven through a gap by Jarome Luai. Simple conversion to go level and now the Panthers are defending a man for another nine minutes.

Nicolussi: Luai impresses at Origin audition
Stats: Numbers favor the Warriors
Medium: Warriors punch above their weight
Penrith struggling in defense and denying Warriors' forays left and right – a couple of dropped passes that would draw sin bins in the 15-man code.
However, he keeps the Warriors at bay and that is difficult for the Kiwi side. Brave stuff from them without Wayde Egan and some injuries, but the Panthers are too good on defense. It's the break and the scoreline is probably a good reflection of what has been quite an entertaining contest.

Test: Luai lights up with an effort of 70 meters
Jarome Luai. There is a bit of magic. And in the number 7 shirt. Benji Marshall will like this one after 32 minutes. A show and he goes and beats Paul Roache with him on his own side at halfway. It's been a long time since I remember Luai taking a break like this.
He finds Scott Sorensen in support and then turns to score under the posts. Penrith in front, Warriors under pressure but still fighting. Although Penrith pop the pill right from the start.
