Convicted Rust gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reed says she wants Alec Baldwin put 'in jail'
Alec Baldwin is one of many facing a new lawsuit in connection with the deadly 2021 shooting rust director of photography Halyna Hutchins.
The 30 Rock alum, armer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed and others involved in the production of the Western film have been accused of negligence in a civil suit filed by Hutchins' family in New Mexico on June 5.
In court documents obtained by E! News, Hutchins' mother Olga Soloveyfather Anatoly Androsovichsister Svetlana Zemko i rust script supervisor Mamie Mitchell he surmised that unsafe conditions on set and a breach of protocol caused a prop gun to discharge from Baldwin's hand, resulting in Hutchins' death.
“Defendant Baldwin chose to play Russian roulette with a loaded gun without checking it and without the locker,” the lawsuit said. “His behavior and that of the producers of rust were intentional and/or negligent acts and/or omissions, without any justification or excuse and with total disregard for the consequences of these acts and/or omissions.”
