The Firebrand The actress offered a rare insight into her life as a mother to her and her husband Michael Fassbenderthe 3-year-old son.
“Becoming a parent changes you in a second, when the baby comes,” Vikander exclusively told E! News' Francesca Amiker. “I, for sure, now have much more vision and especially all the worries.”
The actress continued: “I think it also gives you extra strength because it's like it's beyond you. It's not just you or survival. You have to stay alive to make sure you can take care of yourself. these little children.”
The Tomb Raider star, 35, and Fassbender, 47, met in 2014 on the set of the film The light between oceans. After keeping their engagement private, the actors tied the knot in Ibiza in 2017.
In 2021, Vikander revealed that she and Fassbender welcomed their first child, whose name has not been released. “Now I have a whole new understanding of life in general,” he said people at the time. “This is quite beautiful and will obviously add a lot to any of my work in the future.”
