The investigation into the disappearance of Amber Portwoodthe promise of has come to an end.
Less than a week later Gary Wyatt was reported missing in North Carolina, the Bryson City Police Department announced that the 38-year-old man “has been located.”
In a June 14 update to their previous missing persons alert, authorities wrote on Facebook: “No further information is available at this time. The case is closed.”
Before Wayt disappeared, he was last seen at a Bryson City hotel where he and Portwood were staying, according to an incident report obtained by TMZ. Authorities said that Teen Mom: The Next Chapter The star was the one who reported the disappearance of her fiance.
Wayt was last seen on surveillance footage captured June 9 in Oklahoma, more than 900 miles away from where he was last seen, officials confirmed to E! news
“This is a big deal,” Portwood shared during a June 11 appearance on a YouTube Live show with Elle Bee. “His parents, everyone is very worried. I'm worried.”
