The second trailer of Kevin Costnerthe next movie, Horizon: An American Saga has gone down and continues to show the risks and dangers of the Wild West. This western epic features an all-star ensemble that has appeared in notable projects across genres, all coming together to take a piece of what the wild west has to offer. They just have to be strong and tough enough to hold it.

This newest trailer shows a more sinister and dangerous environment, where people have their own motives and will do whatever it takes to achieve their goals, even if it means looting and pillaging settlements. Like the first trailer, it continues to tease this “promising place” called “Horizon,” a city that promises riches and a chance for a new beginning. Unfortunately, their hope comes with risk as the settlements are constantly attacked, and the people are warned that some would not want to share their land and that everything they build will be burned. All they can do is “carry on,” even if that means fixing things with violence. The trailer also revealed that this Western epic will be released in two parts, both coming out in 2024.

After it was announced that Costner left his role Yellowstone after 5 seasons, it was possible for him to follow this project. Although two episodes will hit theaters, it was reported that horizon it will have a total of four parts, and chapter 3 is currently in the works.

According to an official press release, Horizon: An American Saga will be set during the period of the American Civil War. The official synopsis of the film reads “Horizon: An American Saga explores the allure of the Old West and how it was won (and lost) through the blood, sweat and tears of many. Set during the four years of the Civil War, from 1861 to 1865, Costner's ambitious cinematic adventure will take audiences on an emotional journey through a country at war with itself, experienced through the lens of families, friends and enemies who they try to find out what it really is. it means to be the United States of America.”

Who stars in 'Horizon: An American Saga'?

Costner doesn't just direct and write Horizon: An American Saga, will also star in it, playing the role of Hayes Ellison. This film also boasts a massive cast list, with many who have gone on to play prominent roles in their careers. Some of them include Avatar's Sam Worthington,The Hunger Games' Jena Malone, The walking Dead's Tom Paynei Strange things' Jamie Campbell Bower.
