Don Julio Tequila and Palm Tree Crew have launched their second edition of winter merchandise collaboration for the sophomore production of Palm Tree Music Festival, co-founded by producer and DJ Kygo. The capsule features a premium unisex sweat set designed for style and comfort on the Aspen mountainside or at home in a cozier setting.

Palm Tree Crew, in collaboration with Don Julio Primavera, recently hosted the Palm Tree Music Festival in Aspen on February 24th and 25th. This event marked a significant expansion for Palm Tree Crew, known for its collaborations and lifestyle brand appeal. The town of Aspen has been infiltrated with traditional fashion brands but has been leaning toward true winter fashion from brands like Aztech Mountain, Aspen X, and Fusalp, to name a few.

Collaborations with brands like Puma, Duvin, and Siegelman Stable have contributed to its growing fan base, and this past weekend attendees got to enjoy the Palm Tree Music Festival in Aspen, with a lineup including The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Kygo, Labrinth, Drama, and Harry Hudson, and a live orchestra finale set from Kygo, to name a few.

In addition to the core hoodie, sweatpants, fuzzy bucket hats, and beanie cap selections from the initial merch offering, PTC developed a new set of merchandise specifically for outdoors during winter skiing months. Palm Tree Crew has collaborated with XGames, Winter Olympic legend and professional snowboarder Shaun White, and his winter sports-inspired brand Whitespace.

“Having people walking around wearing merch from the Palm Tree Festival and Palm Tree Crew – it just helps people see it everywhere – you know? It’s just all part of the package. It just helps in promoting,” describes the sonic curator, Kygo.

“My main thing is… I would never want to sell anything to fans that I wouldn’t want to wear myself. It’s just obvious [for me]. We have a team that does the design, but I like to approve everything and make sure that it’s good quality stuff [that] we sell.”

“We’ve had different merch for every day of the festival. We have Palm Tree Hamptons, and we have Palm Tree Aspen, so we try to do different drops during the year,” Kygo says eluding to the parka and shell coat designs.

“This one is not for purchase yet – are we gonna sell these?” looking over to his manager Myles Shear for confirmation on the coats. “it’s like what I got here – Shaun White’s company [Whitespace] made it for us. I think it looks [cool],” Kygo remarks with a satisfied smirk.

The collaboration was seen on staff at the Palm Tree Music Festival that took place at Rio Grande Park, in Aspen, Colorado, where the X Games would take place for some events during the season. Parka coats and shell jackets with branding from both PTC, the music festival, and Whitespace, recognizable from any angle the jacket was spotted in. The exclusive parka and shell coats in white and black are due to launch further down the line this year, teasing the winter-loving crowd with bottle girls sporting these looks, providing the premium Don Julio Tequila to guests.

Kygo, co-founder of Palm Tree Crew, and his manager Myles Shear have been instrumental in curating events that blend music and leisure experiences. The festival in Aspen, the first of its kind in the area, aimed to bring together music lovers and ski enthusiasts in a unique setting, exploring the fashion space in ways that its music has been a catalyst for the overall brand.

Myles Shear explains part of the experience, “We had a nice moment last night where I told [Kygo] that we’re lucky and I love working together. To have what we have is a blessing. It’s always good to see the merch out there. Doing merchandise is a really good way to solidify partnerships. You [have to] take that brand to the next level [not just] making clothes and printing it for fans.”

“We love Don Julio,” Shear notes. “They’re great to work with and they trust us. We’re excited about this partnership. Hopefully, Kygo’s can go on tour and have a bigger relationship to make merch for that too.”

Overall, the Palm Tree Music Festival in Aspen brought together music, fashion, and lifestyle elements, creating an unforgettable experience for attendees. The event showcased the growing influence of Palm Tree Crew and its ability to curate unique experiences that resonate with fans worldwide, through music, and now through fashion.

The hoodie and sweatpants set aims to provide a cozy fit throughout the winter season, reflecting the unique Aspen ski experience and memories from the Palm Tree Music Festival. Available in limited quantities, interested adults aged 21+ can sign up to be notified when orders go live or the next music festival on www.PalmTreeCrew.com.
