Balenciaga's couture show on June 26 had plenty of highlights: Katy Perry's appearance, dramatic feather headdresses on the runway, and a new guard of future girls in attendance. Naomi Watts, Nicole Kidman and Maya Rudolph were each joined by their daughters, and the pairings proved to be some of the most fashionable duos at the function.
Watts, who wore a deconstructed white coat and black skirt, was accompanied by Kai, 15, who posed in a dramatic black lace ensemble. A few months earlier, Kai attended Dior's pre-fall show.
Kidman also brought her 15-year-old daughter Sunday Rose. The duo wore matching midriffs and coordinating all-black looks: a short-sleeved dress and a long dress and velvet minidress with dramatic shoulders, respectively. (If you squint hard enough, you might not be able to tell them apart.)
Rudolph's only child was his 18-year-old daughter, Pearl Minnie Anderson, who was named after Rudolph's mother, the singer Minnie Ripperton. While Rudolph posed in a silky blue print dress, his daughter chose a black velvet bodysuit. Rudolph said WWD which was the first time he attended the haute couture shows in Paris.
