The new animated series Batman: Caped Crusader sounds more and more interesting with each new revelation. The black superhero show from the 1940s comes to us from the all-star creative team of Bruce Timm, Matt Reeves and JJ Abrams. They have also announced several other actors for the show Precise first season of the period. Among them is Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch) voicing a new interpretation of Harley Quinn/Dr. Harleen Quinzel. He is now a character introduced independently of the Joker. She will also have a romantic relationship with Detective Rene Montoya in the series. Meanwhile, Diedrich Bader will voice Gotham DA Harvey Dent and eventually the villain Two-Face. This is a role reversal for Bader, who voiced Bruce Wayne Batman: Brave and the Boldand other animation projects.
Other voice actors playing currently unknown roles include Minnie Driver, John DiMaggio, McKenna Grace, Jason Watkins, Paul Scheer, Reid Scott, David Krumholtz, Haley Joel Osment, and Toby Stephens. Among the villains revealed for the first season so far are Clayface, Gentlemen Ghost, Natalia Knight/Nocturna, and Onomotapia. No word yet iconic Gotham villains like Joker, Riddler and Penguin.
