On the surface, the futuristic and punchy track might seem like another confident and empowering ode to world fame. However, a closer reading of its bold lyrics reveals that this is no celebrity anthem; it's only Lisa.
From the beginning of the edgy tune, the 27-year-old rapper and singer makes big moves. “Gold teeth sitting on the board, she's a rock star / Make your favorite singer wanna rap, baby, la, la,” its opening lyric boasts. It reads like a subtle nod to his 2021 debut album Lalisa (a reference to his full name) and an acknowledgment of who he is under a new rock star aesthetic. In the next line, he flexes his multilingual skills to mimic those who aren't on his level, asking, “Lisa, can you teach me Japanese?”
Although the hip-hop track is in English, the Thai also plants a handful of references to her country of origin.
