A Utah couple almost had to put a pause on their happily ever after.

“As some of you know, the day before my wedding was pretty wild,” Lydia shared on her Instagram on May 21. “Alex and I loaded up a king size mattress to take to our new place. We both decided it was a good idea. for me to lay on the mattress to keep it from blowing… well… it blew “.
And not only did it fly, it did so with Lydia still lying on top of it while Alex drove about 50 miles an hour.
“I remember the mattress floating on top of me and I remember screaming, flying in the air and rolling on the asphalt,” she continued. “I remember Alex running after me after he stopped the car.”
