Clarke: I’m ‘Another Level’ to Fisher, But Open to British Clash

Clarke Watches Fisher vs. Allen Rematch with Interest

Frazer Clarke believes he operates on a completely different level compared to Johnny Fisher, yet he remains open to the idea of a British heavyweight showdown against “The Romford Bull.”

Clarke will be closely watching the outcome when Fisher faces David Allen in their highly anticipated rematch this Saturday. Their initial fight concluded controversially.

In December, Fisher secured a contentious split decision victory. Clarke indicated that he might consider stepping into the ring with the 26-year-old Fisher if Fisher manages to defeat Allen again at the Copperbox Arena.

Clarke shared his thoughts, saying, “It`s an interesting fight, and depending on how Johnny performs on Saturday, I think a matchup between me and him could be excellent.”

He added that Fisher “has to get through Dave Allen first, but it`s definitely something I would consider once that`s done and dusted.”

Fisher somehow kept his undefeated record in the first bout, despite being knocked down in the fifth round as Allen seemed to gain control. Clarke remains confident in his own superiority.

“He`s a good young fighter, but I`m on another level,” stated Clarke, who recently secured a dominant first-round victory against Ebenezer Tetteh last month.

“I have a lot of respect for Johnny and his family; they are truly nice people. However, when it comes to a fight between us, we are worlds apart, and I am significantly ahead of him,” Clarke emphasized.

Clarke has also previously fought David Allen, stopping the Doncaster boxer in the sixth round after a heated encounter.

Reflecting on the first Fisher-Allen fight, Clarke commented, “To be honest, I thought Dave Allen was hard done by, but I`m not going to dwell on it.”

Speaking about his own experience with Allen, Clarke recalled, “When I boxed him, he seemed to be looking for a way out and nearly got me disqualified, but that`s just how things happen in boxing.”

Clarke concluded by stating, “It will be interesting to see what adjustments both fighters have made and who claims the victory this Saturday.”
