ClearVue kicks till with second US greenhouse sale

ClearVue Technologies has sold a second package of its integrated solar glass windows to a leading US-based greenhouse manufacturer, which plans to use the high-tech product to help build a new demonstration facility in California

Management says the exhibit by System USA, which has a 40-year history of manufacturing greenhouses, will promote the benefits of its window technology designed to maximize energy produced from sunlight. Use of the glass also triggers qualification for incentives provided under the US Inflation Reduction Act.

ClearVue Technologies says its solar glass units provide unmatched energy benefits when installed in buildings and greenhouses.

ClearVue believes the supply of its Integrated Glass Units (IGUs) strengthens its partnership with System USA, noting that the approved licensee is recognized as a growing provider of green solutions in North America.

He believes the order, valued at around US$118,000 (A$175,000), will showcase his innovative windows to a wider market and open the door for the technology to be used on a larger scale within the company's greenhouse business californian

ClearVue Technologies Global CEO Martin Deil said: “The global solar greenhouse market is a critical part of our growth strategy. Our immediate focus is on the North American market where we can take advantage of government incentives for renewable energy solutions in agriculture.”

Deil said the repeat order with System USA validated the company's technology through its relationship with a key player in the US greenhouse industry. ClearVue is focused on the US market as it offers great growth potential with many of its cities revealing net zero targets.

Management recently opened a new office in San Jose, receiving extensive publicity including a front-page story in a local California newspaper. It's a timely promotion as the company plans to engage the US investment community based on recent policy initiatives that provide incentives to the construction industry and promote net zero emissions goals.

An IGU is a transparent, double-glazed glass panel with an intermediate layer of laminated plastic that sits between the two glass panels. The interlayer of patented laminated technology contains nano and micro particles.
