This dark fairy tale story is all about what happens when happily ever after is just one big lie to get you to sacrifice yourself for the greater good. This Damsel trailer is really giving us strong Yellowjackets vibes. And that’s a good thing. Although Millie Bobby Brown’s character begins her time in the dragon lair in a full gown and afraid, she quickly understands that she’ll have to adapt to the situation if she’s going to survive. That means losing the long sleeves and picking up the sword. Based on Damsel‘s trailer, we feel her killer instinct might be about to come out. Could she go from hunted to hunter? We bet that’s pretty likely. Hopefully, she manages to befriend the dragon and turn the tables on her betrayers. That’d be a pretty good twist.
