Eddie Hall called out by UFC vet after viral head kick knockout at Karate Combat 54

Former UFC Fighter Challenges Eddie Hall After Strongman`s MMA Success

Following his successful mixed martial arts debut, former UFC standout Sam Alvey has expressed interest in fighting the World`s Strongest Man, Eddie Hall.

Hall, winner of the 2017 World`s Strongest Man competition, had a highly successful professional MMA debut last month at KSW 105, where he quickly defeated Mariusz Pudzianowski in just 30 seconds. He is reportedly already in discussions for another MMA fight with a different promotion.

Having proven himself in his first MMA bout, Hall is now being eyed by various potential adversaries. Among them is former UFC veteran Sam Alvey, who recently achieved a spectacular knockout victory over Tyrone Spong at Karate Combat 54 and has targeted Hall as his next opponent in Karate Combat.

Sam Alvey Calls Out Eddie Hall After Allegedly Signing Contract for Next Fight

During a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Karate Combat double champion Sam Alvey publicly challenged Hall to a future showdown.

“I’m going to kick your ass, respectfully, so sign the contract and let’s do it!” Alvey stated.

He added, “Karate Combat loves the idea, I do know they’re very willing to make it happen, and I believe they’re going to try to make it happen. We’re reaching out to him, going to do everything we can. Eddie Hall, quit ducking me! Quit running, son!”

Alvey remains undefeated in his Karate Combat career following his knockout win over Spong. He previously secured the inaugural KC heavyweight championship by defeating Ross Levine by unanimous decision at KC 43 and later finished Antonio Arroyo in their rematch at KC 48.

As of now, Hall has not publicly responded to Alvey’s challenge. He is currently in active negotiations for his next MMA appearance against an opponent who has yet to be named.

While Hall’s recent callout of Francis Ngannou is unlikely to lead to a fight booking, a matchup with Alvey could be a logical and exciting step for both competitors. With Karate Combat gaining traction, an Alvey vs. Hall bout would undoubtedly be a major attraction for the promotion.

Mariusz Pudzianowski Responds to ‘Tap Out’ Accusations After Loss to Eddie Hall

After his defeat to Hall, Pudzianowski faced claims that he had tapped out to strikes during the rapid 30-second fight. He was quick to dismiss these criticisms following KSW 105 and even hinted at a potential future rematch with Hall.

Reportedly, Pudzianowski received a substantial payout for his brief time in the cage with Hall. The former strongman competitor has now experienced three consecutive losses after previously achieving a five-fight winning streak in KSW.

Alvey and Hall appear to be on a potential collision course after KC 54, and it remains to be seen if Hall will address Alvey’s public challenge soon. Alvey’s recent success highlights the continued achievements of former UFC fighters pursuing opportunities outside the Octagon.
