Yorgos Lanthimos is ready to start shooting his latest project, bugonia, this July The six-time Oscar-nominated director confirmed the news to Collider's Steve Weintraub while promoting his new role, kind of kindnessat the Cannes Festival. bugonia has secured a deal with Focus Features, with Universal Pictures handling international distribution (except Korea). The film will reunite Lanthimos with his muse, Emma Stoneas well as Jesse Plemons which is fast becoming the author's favorite. Will Tracy he wrote the script. The plot centers on two conspiracy-obsessed young men who kidnap the CEO of a major company, believing it to be an alien plot to destroy Earth.
