Eric Kripke Reveals New Info About Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s THE BOYS Character

One of the biggest mysteries going into the boys the fourth season is the details surrounding the mysterious character of Jeffrey Dean Morgan. At first, many fans (myself included), thought he would be playing Tek Knight, the universe's version of a disjointed Iron Man/Batman mashup. But we discovered that this was not true Gene V how much ek Knight appeared in all its loving glory. (No, I don't want to talk about it.) the boys Season four is almost upon us, and while the cast remains tight-lipped about who will play Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Eric Kripke is giving us a little more insight.

In one Weekly entertainment interview, Kripke said that Jeffrey Dean Morgan has wanted to join the show since its debut in 2019. That makes a lot of sense considering he portrays the evil Negan in The walking Dead universe A few things, including Morgan's schedule, prevented that from happening until now. Kripke says that Jeffrey Dean Morgan's character a the boys he's actually a former sidekick of Billy Butcher who also hates superheroes. He said this character is someone who would encourage Butcher's often erratic decisions/behavior, which ultimately can't be good for anyone.

We know that Butcher did several things before becoming the leader of the Boys. He was a Royal Marine Commando, a Special Air Service Operator, and later worked for the CIA when he came to the US. The latter is probably where he met the mysterious character of Morgan, who may still work for the organization in some capacity. We'll have to wait and see what these two get into and whether or not this character is actually trustworthy.
