Every Major Character Death in HOUSE OF THE DRAGON Season 2

TV

Second season of House of the Dragon mark the start of a war between former friends turned bitter enemies Rhaenyra and Alicent. By now you should have pledged your allegiance to #TeamBlack (the right choice, obvs) or #TeamGreen (one choice, I guess) and are crossing your fingers that your side has the least amount of characters. It's inevitable that quite a few characters will die. This is the way of war, after all, and House of the Dragon it goes with death like peanut butter with jelly. So who dies House of the Dragon second season? Let's keep track of all the sad and brutal deaths right here.

Prince Jaehaerys Targaryen loses his mind to blood and cheese

Jaehaerys, the son of King Aegon and his sister-wife, Queen Helaena, was to be the heir to the throne. The young and innocent was seen in the episode casually playing in the council chamber before being sent to his studies. Unfortunately, this guy met a brutal end thanks to some Daemon scheming that went totally wrong. As we know, Rhaenyra is upset about the death of her son Lucerys at the end of the first season. She only wants one thing: to see Aemond Targaryen pay for what he did.

Daemon takes it personally and hires the duo Blood and Cheese to infiltrate the royal quarters and kill Aemond. Obviously, that's where the title of the episode “Son for a Son” comes from. And technically it happens to… just the wrong child. They locate Jaehaerys and his twin sister along with Helaena and force him to tell them which boy the boy is. He does (a little too quickly for my taste) and runs off with his daughter to inform Alicent.

We don't see a lot of blood and gore. But we hear the terrible sawing sound of them grabbing his head to bring it back to Daemon. I'm not 100% sure, but I bet Daemon won't give them the rest of his money. I bet it will kill them too for following instructions wrong.

There will be more bloodshed and death House of the Dragon second season
