With six seasons under the program's belt, it was only right for Charlie Brooker and Netflix to collaborate on a seventh, with this recently announced news. While we don't have a confirmed release date yet, black mirror Season 7 is expected to arrive in 2025. It has been reported that black mirror Season 7 will go into production later this year, so perhaps a mid-late 2025 release window is most likely. While that seems like a pretty long wait, let's not forget that four years separated seasons 5 and 6 due to the pandemic and both Charlie Brooker and his creative partner Annabelle Jones leaving his production company House of Tomorrow, making almost two years seem like no time.

Is there a trailer for 'Black Mirror' season 7?

Unsurprisingly, there's no trailer yet black mirror Season 7. However, a short 30 second teaseravailable to view above, was recently published in the black mirror social media accounts, which cryptically hints at the upcoming season and confirms the release year. In typical black mirror fashion, the teaser feels strangely technological, with the awkward mechanical hum setting a precedent for the disturbing tone that we will most likely receive throughout the upcoming seventh outing.

Almost all upcoming episodes are kept under wraps, and we're unlikely to get any plot information until a trailer is released. However, as shown in the trailer description above, one episode has been confirmed to be “a sequel to the sci-fi adventure USS Callister.” The first episode of season 4 of the series, USS Callister was a highly praised sci-fi adventure that stood out brightly from the mixed bag that was Season 4, with the promise of a go back to black mirrorthe most beloved crew of undoubtedly exciting. Unfortunately, the crew will now be without Captain Robert Daly (Jesse Plemons), as his character has been confirmed to have died off-screen between the two stories.

While not revealing any major plot information, creator Brooker discussed the show's seventh season with The Hollywood Reporterwhich suggests it could be the the most experimental season so far. Brooker said:


“I'm always excited about all of them, but I think we have a really good mix. I'm about to start writing the last one, which is really terrifying because I probably should have written it a few weeks ago! real mix of stuff, very exciting castings that have happened I don't want to cheat by saying that we're in the part I really like, so it's a good feeling We're putting the final polish on the score and mixing 'one of them and we're doing something really cool that we've never done before, but I can't say what it is.

Who is in the cast of 'Black Mirror' season 7?


Unfortunately, there are no casting confirmations yet black mirror Season 7. However, for one of the episodes, the aforementioned sequel to USS Callister, it's fair to assume that many of the original cast will return. This includes the likes of Cristin Milioti (The Wolf of Wall Street) as Nanette Cole, Jimmy Simpson (Westworld) as James Walton, Michaela Coel (i can destroy you) as Shania Lowry, Billy Magnussen (House Road) as in Valdack, Milanka Brooks how (The Windsors) Elena Tulaska, Osi Ikhile (End of childhood) as Nate Packer, and Paul G Raymond (Wonka) as Kabir Dudani. As to Jesse Plemons'(Killers of the Flower Moon) Robert Daly, information from the opening episode has confirmed that his character is now dead, though he may return in flashback form.

As for the rest of the episodes, the possibilities are potentially endless, with black mirror always showcasing a wide range of acting talent from artists like Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) i Andrew Scott (Fleabag) a Jon Hamm (mad men) i Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World). Who is behind Black Mirror Season 7?

Since the new season isn't in production yet, it's unlikely we'll find out exactly who's working behind the scenes for some time. However, we do know that creators Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones will return as executive producers alongside their former collaborator. Jessica Rhoades. Some people have contributed to the series multiple times, such as directors Owen Harris i Toby Haynes and producers Louise Sutton i Ian Hoganso maybe they can apply their endless talents to the series once again in Season 7.

In his interview with The Hollywood ReporterBrooker got into bed he fears the show will end soon. Despite the long wait between seasons, Brooker is just as excited to write episodes, saying:


“I don't know, because like I said, I'm in a very, very lucky position where I can write these things, they get done, and I work with amazing people who also make me look better. And I love every minute of it, actually. it's my favorite and there's a lot of variety so it's inexhaustible in many ways, I'll know for sure when we don't do more For me at some point I'm sure, but I'm not going anywhere.

What is the episode count of 'Black Mirror' season 7?

It has been confirmed that black mirror Season 7 will consist of six gender-bending and groundbreaking episodes in total. This stays true to most episodes of the series so far and is a one-episode increase in Season 6.
