The fifth episode of the boysSeason four changes the game in many ways. We find out what happens to Hughie's dad after he takes over Compound V, A-Train and Ashley team up to cover his tracks, and most of the Boys team works with Victoria Neuman and Stan Edgar on a mission involving killer farm animals. The desperation to get rid of horrible ghosts like Firecracker, Homelander and Victoria Neuman is at its peak. So, Butcher decides to tell the team about a virus that can kill soups by basically frying compound V. MM and the others are angry but not surprised that he withheld information yet again. Butcher knows Victoria has the goods, so he works with MM to make a deal with Stan Edgar. They visit Vought's former leader in prison and say they will help exonerate him and help him get custody of Zoe. Stan is very angry that Victoria betrayed him and gave Compound V to Zoe, so he agrees to help him.

The boy team (minus Hughie) and Stan travel to a remote house he owns to see if Victoria is hiding the death virus there. Not only was he keeping her there, but he also had a team of researchers, including Zoe's father, Sameer, experimenting on small animals. Chances are Victoria wants to perfect it so she can take out Homelander. A hamster went rogue, compound V got into the water supply, and the farm became a not-so-nice space. The crew fights off deadly flying sheep and chickens before discovering that only one dose of the death virus remains.

Butcher and Joe Kessler later return to force Sameer to make more of the virus. This isn't the plan everyone wants, but Butcher is always doing his thing.

(God, I love this show.) Then the “Guardians of Godolkin” come out to announce their Flipped show. Cate plays a stuck-up sorority girl, Sam is a nerd, but a gypsy swaps bodies. Honestly, this show sounds awful. Aside from a brief TV report about Marie and the others missing, not much has been said about the children of God U so far.
