A big Fire and Blood the moment of the book is approaching House of the Dragon second season. Fans of the books are very familiar with two supporting characters, Blood and Cheese, who play a role in A Dance with Dragons. Well, says showrunner Ryan Condal House of the Dragon it will have a blood and cheese scene and it will be brutal. Surprising, I know.
No need to spoil things for those unfamiliar with the source material, but Olivia Cooke, who plays Queen Alice, has this to say in a Weekly entertainment interview:
“I would just say it is game of thrones, expect the worst. Expect the worst, then double down. I don't know what else to say without spoiling it too much, but it's disgusting.”
Phew. We don't know who is playing the Blood and Cheese roles House of the Dragon nor how the show will turn its brutal story. But there will be death and destruction when Team Black rises against Team Green.
