Kate shared in her latest missive that she has been “overwhelmed by all the kind messages of support and encouragement”, adding: “It has really made a difference to William and me and helped us both in some of the hardest times.”
The Prince of Wales has also appreciated these public displays of empathy, as the future king also does not mind a resuscitation in the midst of such difficult times.
“The double illness has put enormous pressure on William, both as a father and heir to the family business,” said the royal biographer and The Crown historian Robert Lacey he told the magazine. “It has brought all kinds of challenges. he [has handled] calmly and without drama”.
And, Lacey added, “from what we know about their personal lives, for William and Kate, spending time with their children is the most precious and fun thing they can do.”
