After Howie Mandel shared how he found his wife in a pool of blood in their hotel room after a night of partying in Las Vegas on America's Got Talent the judge clarified that Terry was “not drunk” at the time of the accident.
“She doesn't have a problem with alcohol,” Howie told TMZ in an interview published on June 18. “I'll tell you the truth: He had jelly beans. So it's not an alcohol problem. He was on pot.”
Noting that Terry has been “so worried” that people will want to “intervene” with her drinking in light of the experience, Howie further explained that she chose to share her story publicly simply because it was “really scary”.
And for anyone who wants to learn from the To deal or not to deal the host's story, he joked, “I think marriage is that it's not easy.”
The 68-year-old previously commented that Terry has recovered after recently suffering a freak accident in his Las Vegas hotel room.
