MIAMI – Fort Lauderdale woman's husband Ana Knezevichwho disappeared in Spain, has been arrested.
David Knezevich was arrested Saturday at Miami International Airport for “…for his alleged involvement in the kidnapping of an American citizen in Madrid, Spain on or about February 2, 2024.”

Sanna Rameau, who is Ana's best friend, said: “…I'm glad there was an arrest… We hope this next chapter brings justice and we find answers about what happened to the “Anna”.
In an earlier interview, Rameau said something strange happened right before he disappeared.
“There was a man who came into the building, they sprayed their surveillance cameras in her building around 9:30 p.m. She was last seen around 10 p.m.,” he said.
The next day, Rameau said he received a mysterious text message from Ana's phone, which was very unpleasant.
“Saying that the day before he met a man on the street, that he was going to be at his house two hours from Madrid and that he had a connection with him that he had never had before,” he said.
Rameau said Ana was going through a difficult time as she and her husband divorced.
David is due back in federal court on Thursday.
