Ink Master Star Ryan Hadley Dead at 46 After Cancer Battle

The tattoo community has lost one of its own.

Ryan Hadleywho competed on the sixth season of Spike's reality show ink master in 2015, he died on June 20 after battling cancer. He was 46 years old.

“Ryan left this world last night surrounded by loved ones,” read a message posted on his Instagram on June 21. “Although his life was cut short, in that time he left a legacy in both the art and tattoo worlds. He will be missed and remembered by many fans, his friends and clients, and especially his children forever.

The Fort Wayne, Ind., native and father of six revealed last December on a GoFundMe page set up by his grown daughter Whitney who was undergoing chemotherapy for a seminoma, a malignant tumor of germ cells. It was not the first time he underwent cancer treatment.

“Now I'm in the hospital for chemotherapy much sooner than I expected,” he wrote on Instagram. “The last time I went through this it almost killed me and scared the crap out of me.”
