TV

In the acolytesixth episode of, Osha found herself in Qimir's secret hideout. This location was first seen in the series premiere when Mae's master appeared on top of a rock along the waves of the ocean. Unlike any other world in the series, however, the War of the galaxies the series did not name the world of Qimir. the acolyte labeled it only as “Unknown Planet”. But it was impossible for War of the galaxies fans don't wonder if we already know what his real name is, Ahch-To. the acolyteThe unknown planet of 's looked almost identical to the planet of Ahch-To from the sequel trilogy. And if this is indeed where Qimir lives, it means that the dark side user who would set the Jedi on a path to near-ruin a century later also lived on the same remote world where a lonely Luke Skywalker trained Rey.

What is the acolyteThe unknown planet of? Here's why we think so Is War of the galaxies'Ahch-To

the acolyte“The unknown planet” and the War of the galaxies Ahch planet: share all the same physical properties. Both are mostly covered in water dotted with lush green rocky islands. Each is also home to adorable bird-like creatures, although the animals in the new Disney+ show aren't porgs. Simply put, they look identical in every way.

These similarities are only part of the reason why it was impossible not to think that Osha found himself in Ahch-To where the acolyte. the acolyte he also framed many shots in a way that he clearly hears The Last Jedi. The camera caught her from behind as she exited a tunnel to look out over the ocean. We saw similar shots of Rey and Luke framed like this. Osha followed Qimir to the Unknown Planet the way Rey followed Luke to Ahch-To. the acolyte he intentionally referenced shots and sequences of Ahch-To in a place that was indistinguishable from him.

Qimir actually lives on the planet of Ahch-To on the acolyte?

So is this where Qimir lives? He did the Jedi Killer the very planet where the Jedi Order was founded thousands of years earlier as a base of operations? Whether he resides in Ahch-To or not, the fact that his world looks so much like Ahch-To is what matters.

Yes the acolyteFinally, the “Unknown Planet” is revealed to be Ahch, the significance will be obvious. The very dark lord, a former Jedi Padawan and possible Sith, who set the Order on a path of destruction, will have used the Jedi's own home to bring them down.

Qimir may have even used Jedi Sacred Texts and ancient Jedi knowledge found on Ahch-To to better understand his enemy in the acolyte. This may be why he is able to approach the Force with as much power as he can.

(This would also explain why the Jedi couldn't sense his true identity initially. And it would also help explain why they wouldn't sense Palpatine's over a century later.)

And if Osha becomes Qimir's apprentice the acolyte, Ahch-To will be the place where a powerful Force user trains a student who will go on to lead his order, just as it will be again when Rey arrives there to find Luke Skywalker. Only the roles will change, with Qimir's student reluctant to learn and Rey's Master reluctant to teach.

The resemblance of the unknown planet to Ahch-To is important to the acolyte Even if it's a different planet

But even if Qimir's planet is not Ahch-To on a cloudy day and is instead an entirely different world, the acolyte obviously he wanted us to War of the galaxies connection There is an obvious meaning in making us think of Ahch-To. Is War of the galaxies “rhyme” like poetry, just as George Lucas said it should be.

If the Unknown Planet is not Ahch-To, it means that in the galaxy far, far away there are two identical worlds, neither inherently good nor bad. How these planets are used by those who call them home will determine which side they fall on, just as the Force is not inherently good or bad. We will remember one planet for light, the other for darkness. They will balance each other appropriately.
