Jupiter spits out more high-grade rare earths for Venture

Politics

The company followed this result in late May with its largest successful operation to date: an 80m section grading 1839ppm from just 8m.

High-quality hits from Jupiter are becoming commonplace for Venture. Previous RC drilling returned strikes up to 2m with a TREO of 20,538ppm raised, 2m 10,266ppm, 12m grading 4673ppm, 20m 2519ppm and 24m 2060ppm.

The deposit is located within the project formerly known as Iron Duke, where Venture last year signed a joint venture (JV) agreement with Sentinel Exploration and currently holds a 70 percent stake after fulfilling its spending commitments of $500,000 in two years. He is now working to secure 90 percent of the operation.

Jupiter is part of what is now known as the wider Brothers Project, with the small rural town of Mt Magnet as the nearest settlement just 80km to the north-east. It is also close to good infrastructure, including sealed road access and a pipeline en route to the main port of Geraldton, 300km away.

With assays of 104 other sunken holes at Jupiter still pending, Venture could be looking at a major resource in its 40 square kilometer project if the consistency and high grade of its latest drilling continues to deliver.
