The much-anticipated featherweight clash between Marat Grigorian and Shootboxing standout Kaito has been called off.
This high-level matchup, expected to feature two prominent fighters from the division, fell through when negotiations for a catchweight bout failed. According to reports, including one from Nick Atkin, Kaito’s team refused the catchweight proposal after Grigorian, who initially struggled to provide a hydration sample but later succeeded, still missed weight by 0.75 lbs.
