Katie Maloney He didn't like what the meeting was for Vanderpump Rules did for Ariana Madix. In the show, they saved the last moments of the cast so they could all watch it together. Those moments showed Lala Kent ranting about Madix and Tom Sandoval acting like Madix getting out of the situation made him look good. It felt like they were trying to hurt Madix and Maloney brought it up on his podcast no respect which co-organizes with the ex Vanderpump Rules star Dayna Kathan.

Madix was brought on the show and Maloney explained how she felt the final moments were bad for Madix. “I hated the end of it all. I hated that they waited to show us those five minutes because I was like, 'This feels bad to me and it's only bad for Ariana.' That wasn't for either of us,” Maloney said . “There was nothing shocking to any of us. It was just bad for one person.”

Madix wasn't happy with the footage either, saying she was visibly upset in front of the camera. “You see my mouth [during the third part of the reunion] like, “What the hell?” … Which was literally like, 'Oh, so this is what they're doing,'” Madix said. “Because even when they emailed the episodes, they say, 'You'll notice you don't have [the end of the episode].' But then they didn't really say why.” Which made Madix feel like producers were targeting her specifically. “She felt, 'Well, now we've got her stuck in this room. We didn't get what we wanted. [during the finale]. We couldn't break it down in real life at this point. So we're going to retaliate by doing it right now in a place where she's contractually obligated to be here and try to force this moment now.”

The two continued with Madix noting that he gave them what they apparently wanted. “Great, I cried. Are you guys happy now?” And Maloney downplayed his opinion that what they did to Madix was just the show being mean to her.”

Madix helped make the show one of the most talked about shows on television after Sandoval cheated on her with her friend, Rachel Leviss. But this season, it's been Sandoval's redemption tour and Madix wasn't having it when the show was filmed just 3 months after the affair was discovered. It was real and it was exciting to see,” Madix said. “I'm sorry, if you're literally just looking at it from a perspective of good reality TV, I've given you good reality TV.”
