Kim PorterThe father speaks after a 2016 video of Sean “Diddy” Combs assault his then girlfriend Cassie Ventura has been discovered recently.
“You can tell I was disgusted by the video and I wouldn't treat my enemy like that.” Jake Porterwhose late daughter dated the rapper for 13 years before their breakup in 2007, said rolling stone in an interview published on June 7. “It was despicable.”
Jake, who is also the grandfather of Kim and Diddy's children Quincy32, christian25, as well as twins jessie i From Lila, 17, added that he now has a “different take” on the Bad Boy Records founder. (Kim died of pneumonia at age 47 in 2018.)
“I didn't know it could go that low,” the 78-year-old said. “I wouldn't even make a dog like that. My heart goes out to Cassie.”
And! News has reached out to Diddy's rep for comment, but has not heard back.
In hotel surveillance video released by CNN in May, Diddy was seen chasing Cassie down a hotel hallway before grabbing her, throwing her to the floor and kicking her several times. The images appeared to match an alleged incident detailed in a November 2023 lawsuit Cassie filed against the Grammy winner, who she split from in 2018 after a decade-long on-again, off-again relationship.
