After the end of their engagement, the reality stars were still trying to get an apartment together in which Lindsay was the only one staying there, and Carl had decided to move out but was still paying half the rent. After that, another physical thing connected her to Carl, which was her three wedding dresses that he was planning to bring. Three dresses in her closet looked sad, so Lindsay took the initiative and donated the dresses to a good cause.
Deciding to donate the dresses to a good cause is a very admirable quality because Lindsay could have easily gotten rid of them and completely detached herself from the situation. Instead, doing so is emotionally draining, but it makes sure the dresses go to someone who takes advantage in a way she couldn't. Not only that, but it was his last step out of the situation as the reunion had already happened, and this was one of final connections with her relationship with Carl.
Where Lindsay Hubbard Wedding Dresses Are Given
On June 17, Lindsay hosted an event at Kleinfeld Bridal where she showed off the three dresses she bought for her wedding. one of which he showed while filming Summer house. She decided to host her event at the place where she bought them so she could not only show off her dresses, but let everyone see the beautiful dresses the brand has. The main dress she wore to her wedding retailed for $9,978, and her other two dresses ranged from $6,000 to $7,000. With a price like that, Lindsay knew she had to give the dresses to someone who could put the beautiful dresses to good use.
While hosting the event, Lindsay revealed to guests that 100% of the proceeds from her dresses sold by Kleinfeld Again would be donated to Chick Mission, a non-profit organization that specializes in helping “every young woman newly diagnosed with cancer to have the option to preserve her fertility.” This is close to Lindsay's heart, as viewers know her dreams is to be a motherand the fact that he does this for women who might still have the possibility of being one is admirable of him.
