Rob Rausch has been laying low after the explosive end of his last romantic partnership. Love Island USA dumped women Andrea Carmona of the villa because he had a strong connection with the snake catcher. This put a bad taste in his mouth and he was more focused on taking down Leah Kateb instead of finding love. But there were a few Rob moments that people noticed that got some viewers talking.
Rob has a crush on another original islander, but will he act on it? Connor Newsum revealed who Rob thinks is “precious” in the villa. But will it go anywhere? This is what we can say about the last episodes.
Connor says Rob is with JaNa on Love Island USA
Connor revealed that he and Rob liked the same girl more than once. “Rob and I seemed to gravitate towards the same type of girl. Rob even said, “JaNa is beautiful, JaNa is beautiful,he said US Weekly. “I'm like, 'Dude, we can't do this again.' I laughed about it, you know, Rob and I are really close in our communication.” This isn't surprising since he brought JaNa out for a chat after Andrea left. It's possible that JaNa knew he was about to flirt with her because he has called him “friend” several times. Rob also passionately kissed JaNa during the kissing challenge.
JaNa got together with Connor, but he left her for Leah. The season started with Leah and Rob hooking up. It would have been messy for the men to romantically link back to the same women. Rob told Connor that Leah lied to him about her feelings for him before he was dumped. The men are currently in Casa Amor and Rob is single. It doesn't seem like he's hitting it off with a particular girl from Casa.
However, he made it known that his feelings for Olivia Walker it changed just before the men left town. “I just wanted to get to know you more,” Rob told her in episode 18. She told him she'd choose him at the coupling ceremony, but Cassidy Laudano he chose it first. “I kind of liked it” he told him. Olivia was the first bombshell of the season and stole Rob away. He wasn't happy about that since he was focused on Leah. Rob claims that the Olivia in the villa weeks later is not the same person they were paired with and that's why his feelings have changed. Olivia isn't that close to Leah, so this should cause less drama than if she continued to pursue JaNa.
Love Island USA Season 6 is available to stream royal peacock. The season runs for six weeks and new episodes will air every day except Wednesdays at 9pm ET.
