A man seriously injured in the car park of the Skegness Jack Snipe pub after the assault

Police are appealing for anyone with information about an assault which took place in the car park of the Jack Snipe Pub in Skegness to come forward.

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that a 57-year-old man has been charged following a serious assault at the Jack Snipe pub in Skegness.

Police were called to the popular Skegness pub on Queens Road just before 11.20pm on Wednesday, February 14.th2024, following reports, a man was making threats and assaulting another man.

According to a Lincolnshire Police spokesman, the victim of the serious assault was taken to hospital with multiple injuries.

Andrew Marvell, 57, of Elder Close, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and charged with wounding with intent and having a knife in a public place in the early hours of Friday morning (February 16 ).

Today, 16th In February, Andrew Marvell appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody pending a Crown Court hearing which is currently unresolved.

According to witnesses, the incident happened in the car park of the Skegness Jack Snipe pub. Lincolnshire Police are appealing for anyone with information about the assault to come forward.
