Maxine “F***ing” Minx is back for her third and final film. Only this time writer-director Ti West is bringing it out West. he is wrapping his X horror trilogy under the bright lights of Hollywood. But the latest trailer of MaXXXine shows that its young star so desperate for fame and glory will not have the chance to build a new life for herself in Tinsletown. The Devil and her past will find her wherever she goes. And when they do it will mean even more blood and death.
The third and final X the film is a star-studded affair. In addition to Mia Goth, MaXXXine also features Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon. …Cursed. Now that's a cast.
But just like with the first two entries in the series, we're very excited to see Goth play Maxine Minx once again. In just a couple of years it has established its place in the annals of horror. Maxine isn't the only one who will be in danger walking the streets of Hollywood Boulevard, however. Once again, those closest to the aspiring actress will find themselves in mortal danger. In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally hits her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks Hollywood stars, a trail of blood threatens to reveal their sinister past.
MaXXXine will turn up the heat and bloodshed when it hits theaters this summer on July 5, 2024. But fans hoping to get an early preview won't have to wait that long. A24 announced is coming back in 2022 Xthe first film in the franchise, in theaters for one night only on June 18. These screenings will feature a special kick-off look MaXXXine during the film's post-credits.
This is only fitting because the past isn't over with Maxine yet.
