Audiences can see the Academy Award-nominated actor Michael Keaton's (Birdman or the unexpected virtue of ignorance) latest crime thriller from the comfort of your home, as announced by Lionsgate Knox leaves it goes to digital, DVD and Blu-ray. The film will be available to rent and purchase on digital platforms on May 21 for $5.99 and $14.99, respectively, followed by a physical release on May 28 for $24.99.


The film centers on John “Aristotle” Knox, a contract killer who has recently been diagnosed with a rare and rapidly progressing form of dementia. With little time left, he is given a chance to redeem himself by embarking on a thrilling journey to rescue his estranged son. The film was released last year in Toronto International Film Festival before receiving a theatrical release in limited markets earlier this year on March 15th. The film received moderately positive reviews from critics, earning a 61% fresh rating at Rotten tomatoes and an audience rating of 83%. Now, with the film reaching a wider audience nationally on VOD, viewers can embark on the excitement of Keaton's latest performance.


Keaton stars in the film as Knox alongside an all-star cast that includes Oscar winners. Al Pacino (Scent of a woman) i marcia Gay Harden (Mystic River), next to James Marsden (Westworld). The film also features the appearance of Suzy Nakamura, JohnHoogenakker, Joanna Kulig, Ray McKinnon, Lela Loreni Dennis Dugan. In addition to starring in the title role, Keaton also serves as the director of the film, written by Gregory Poirier. Trevor Matthews has developed the project on the side Nick Gordon, Michael Sugar, Ashley Zaltaand Keaton.

Knox leaves serves as Keaton's second directorial effort, who previously directed the 2008 film The Merry Lordwhich also starred. But there are soon to be more exciting projects starring the acclaimed actor this year, as he will also be making his long-awaited return to the role of Beetlejuice in the upcoming sequel, simply titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. In addition, the actor will also star Goodrichan upcoming comedy film directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer. Until then, audiences can experience a thrilling journey to redemption when Knox leaves hits shelves later this month.

Knox leaves is released on digital platforms on May 21st and will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on May 28th.
