New documentary explores real-life “Truman Show” in Japan

In “The Truman Show,” Jim Carrey's character Truman learns that his whole life is a lie and that he is the subject of a reality show. Before the movie hit theaters, a similar real-life scenario played out in Japan: Nasubi, a 22-year-old aspiring comedian, became an unwitting participant in a twisted reality show. A new documentary explores the show and its impact. Michelle Miller reports.
