When it came to making a crucial decision, Nicole seemed to be reeling over which way to go. So he asked the girls to make a deal. Veronica said that Nicole could be her number one. Jasmine shared that she had saved him before when they wanted him to go against Cara. Nicole initially selected Veronica to fight Arena, replacing Jasmine. That is until Veronica questioned her decision, alluding to the mind games Cara Maria was playing with her. Veronica begged Nicole to change her mind as she told Nicole she wasn't working with Cara, which Nicole seemed to believe. His plea did not fall on deaf ears. Nicole asked TJ if she could change her selection, and after he left her, she ended up fighting and beating Jasmine. Now was it fair to let Nicole do this? Probably not, but yes the challenge. The rules are never what they should be. Jasmine had the potential to walk all the way to the end of the game due to her great connections with all the remaining players. Nicole made a decision that shocked the crowd as they weren't too happy to see Jasmine go home as she was now jeopardizing their personal games.
With Veronica's ingenious last-minute move, Nicole changed how the rest of the match would play out, such as a target as a threat, politically and physically, is cemented on the back. Nicole's physical prowess will likely see her out of the bottom, but she'll likely be robbed of her star if she ends up in the middle group. With Laurel yet to see an elimination, the moment she gets a chance to steal a star, Nicole might be the best option for her. Either because it would be an act of revenge for her heartbreak or because she doesn't want to compete in the finals, Laurel should set her sights on Nicole. It would be TV gold, though, if the exes were forced into elimination together, but the odds seem slim based on which women remain in the game.
