What better time than now for an off-Broadway musical spoofing the many women in Donald Trump's life?

FIVE: The Parody Musical it doesn't just emulate the Broadway musical SIXabout the six ex-wives of King Henry VIII, but more relevantly satirizes the women he describes as “Ivana, Marla, Melania, Stormy, Ivanka, divorced, her-larious, uncensored.”

According to a press release about the new musical, “Henry VIII and his six wives had nothing on Donald, the 45th, and these five women. Ready to make Americans laugh again, FIVE is an irreverent musical comedy revue starring some of the women in the lives of past (and hopefully not future) Presidents of the United States.

“Ivana, Marla and Melania join crowd favorite Stormy and daddy's girl Ivanka as they take the spotlight and sing their hearts out for the vote.”

The creators of the musical's book and lyrics, Shimmy Braun and Moshiel Newman Daphna, said: “The light bulb moment came right after we saw SIX. Who else can easily fight the battle of who had it worse? And so it was born FIVE: The Parody Musicala primary celebrated by women in the life of our disgusting 45th president It's a travesty that finally gives these women their moment in the limelight and a chance to “recover.”

With music and lyrics by Billy Recce, FIVE: The Parody Musical stars Anyae Anasia as Ivana; Gabriella Joy Rodriguez as Marla; Jamie Lyn Beatty as Melania; Gabi Garcia as Stormy; and Hannah Bonnett as Ivanka.

In an interview with Forbes at the press preview of FIVE, Michael Cohen, Trump's former lawyer, who spent more than a year in federal prison after pleading guilty to tax evasion, lying to Congress and campaign finance law violations, when he made a payment of money to Daniels immediately before the 2016 presidential election. He said that anyone else facing four indictments and 91 criminal charges, as Trump currently does, “would have already been convicted, already serving time.” The fact that he's using the Presidency as a shield for prosecution is just a stalling tactic, it's a delaying tactic.

“But as we always say, the wheels of justice turn slowly, but they have finally come full circle,” he added.

Asked how these charges might affect Americans' willingness to re-elect Trump, Cohen said he is a “firm believer that Americans are a lot smarter than the media gives them credit for. I think when a citizen of this country, regardless of whether he is a republican, a democrat or an independent, that when he is alone in the voting booth making a decision, he will always vote for democracy over autocracy. The republican party now stands for autocracy , the Democratic Party for Democracy. There is nothing we should love more than democracy, and I think American citizens feel the same way.”

FIVE: The Parody MusicaIt will run until April 21 at Theater 555 in New York.
