Ariarne Titmus delights in inflicting psychological blows on her rivals every time she steps into the water, regardless of where she is in the world or what type of competition she's competing in.

On the opening night of Australia's Olympic and Paralympic trials, Titmus took a “fearless” approach to his beloved 400m freestyle event and cruised to a resounding victory just 0.06 seconds off his record from last year's world championships in Japan.
