A show that was once so small has now become a cultural phenomenon that has sparked interest from the past real world contestants and people from Big brother and survivor. But being able to get excited about the 40th season makes viewers think back to where it all started and who it started with. This new season and the creation of teams from different eras shows viewers how many contestants have grown, especially the Era One team. This Era will be a fan favorite for many because it has many of the OGs road rules, and have seen first hand how the show has evolved. Many of the contestants on this team haven't been on the flagship show in many years, and seeing some familiar faces brings back memories of how it all began. Mark Long and Rachel Robinson are two of the biggest names to return to the main show.

The first era has the strongest men

Having been five times challenge champion, CT Tamburello leads Team Era One as one of the strongest competitors to ever be a part of the show. It is one of the few that has remained in the franchise since the Road rules was, together with Aneesa Ferreira. He has lived many lives while on the show and has gone from the guy who would fight the contestants to one who sees himself as a legend and everyone wants to be aligned with him.

Besides CT, Mark Long was one of the strongest male competitors to appear on the show. He hasn't been on the flagship show since he was eliminated by his friend Johnny Bananas activated Battles of the Ex right before the finals, it has now come out that he threw the elimination to let Bananas go to the finals. Mark has been a huge part of the franchise not only because he was a strong competitor, but because he is the one who started the movement to create The challenge: All-Stars to give past players who haven't been on the show a chance to come back and win. CT and Mark haven't had the chance to be on a team together in a long time, and seeing these two powerhouses together will make for a great show that viewers will enjoy. When it comes to female competitors who have made their mark the challenge, Rachel Robinson is always the first thing that comes to mind for viewers besides Cara Maria. After more than a decade away from the flagship show, Rachel made her debut again The Challenge: All Stars 4, in which he showed that, even though he hasn't appeared on the show in a while, he still has what it takes to beat everyone. It's been a while since viewers last saw her, and since her last appearance on her show she left a sour taste in viewers' eyes because she was voted out early. Battle of Ex II since he was in a relationship with his ex Aneesa Ferreira.

Aneesa has always been known as not being one of the best competitors, but it seemed like if she had partnered with Rachel, she could have helped her win. He was wrong, as they were voted out early in the game. Still, Rachel was considered one of the best players and viewers longed for her return. He talked to her Weekly entertainment on his return all the stars, saying, “One of the reasons I wanted to come back is because I wanted to show and prove to myself that I'm still at the top of my game. That's a big statement for women in their 40s because I was an incredible competitor. In my 20s years, but I firmly believe that I am a better competitor now.“Rachel had slowly returned to this world as she became the primary host Challenge training series in the show YouTube channel Her return makes viewers even more excited as it will give her a chance to prove if she's as strong as she is as she competes against some of the strongest girls that have appeared on the show from other teams.

In addition to Rachel returning, there's also someone who hasn't been on the flagship show in years, Katie Cooley. Katie was always seen as a weaker competitor due to her petite size, but don't underestimate her because even though she is small, she knows how to get under people's skin, which is a necessary skill on this show.. Katie may not be remembered for many challenge wins, but she is remembered for the many times she was injured on the show, and hopefully, with her taking time off from the show, she'll be taking care of herself while doing the challenges. The feminine side of Era One is also completed Tina Barta, Aneesa Ferreira and Jodi Weatherton.
