For many years, fans have been clamoring for the return to this beloved nation of Genoa. The Princess Diaries movies won the hearts of virtually everyone in the early 2000s and brought Mia Thermopolis into our lives. And who can forget the iconic The Princess Diaries 2: A Royal Engagement, where Anne Hathaway and Chris Pine made us swoon as they bucked tradition and found love. Of course, through it all, Julie Andrews' firm but tender Queen Regent Clarisse Renaldi reigned supreme. And now, it's time to dust off those tiaras because it rings The Princess Diaries 3 it can be a way out.
The Hollywood Reporter shares that Aadrita Mukerji will write the third installment The Princess Diaries for Disney. Unfortunately, franchise star Julie Andrews doesn't think she's likely to return to reprise her role as Queen Regent, Clarisse Renaldi. Andrews pointed this out recently Access Hollywood (which we saw through The Hollywood Reporter) that it “probably won't be possible” for it to appear in a Princess diaries 3. He added: “I think it would be too late to do it now. There was talk of a sequel many, many years ago. But I don't think it ever happened…[For] especially me, it's too far to go back now.”
A Princess Diaries movie without Clarisse? We couldn't imagine it. But other players are more on board. Chris Pine said so recently Entertainment tonightabout the potential third film, Pine said, “Yes, I'm here! I'm here for this. Give me a phone call or an email.”
Anne Hathaway, meanwhile, has shared that she would be excited to return The Princess Diaries 3, if it happens The most recent, he pointed out about a third movement, “We're in a good place… That's all I can say. Nothing to announce yet. But we're in a good place.”

In any case, it would be nice to see Mia as a more settled queen of Genovia. And we won't complain about seeing Chris Pine again either. Perhaps the couple could even recreate their bath in the palace fountain. The pine is already planned Star Trek 4so why not The Princess Diaries 3? We look forward to hearing more official confirmations The Princess Diaries 3 very soon.
In the meantime, we'll use this time to re-watch the first two movies over and over again. After all, they are classics.
