Realme GT 6 Teased to Feature 5,500mAh Battery, SuperVOOC Charging Support

Realme GT 6 is all set to go official on June 20 and will go on sale in India via Flipkart. As the launch date approaches, the Chinese tech brand is actively revealing the design and specifications of the new GT series phone. More recently, the brand has confirmed the battery and charging details of the Realme GT 6. It has already been tipped to run on Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It will come with various artificial intelligence (AI) powered features.

Both Realme and Flipkart, through a dedicated landing page on their websites, are teasing the launch of the Realme GT 6. According to the teasers, the upcoming phone will pack a 5,500mAh battery with 120W SuperVOOC charging support. This fast charging technology is said to fill the two-cell battery from zero to 50 percent in 10 minutes and from zero to 100 percent in 28 minutes.

The Realme GT 6 battery is said to offer up to 46 hours of talk time and eight hours of PUBG gameplay on a single charge. It is claimed to retain more than 80% capacity after 1,600 full charge cycles. Realme claims that the battery will guarantee up to four years of use on one charge per day.

The Realme GT 6 launch will take place in India and select global markets on June 20 at 1:30 PM IST. It has already been confirmed to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and offers a 120fps refresh rate for gaming. It teases a 10,014mm square dual VC cooling system for thermal management.

The Realme GT 6 is expected to pack a dual rear camera unit, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 main sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle lens. It is said to have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The brand will reveal the details of the camera on June 13.
