In keeping with the theme of the night, 'The Garden of Time', Rita, 33, opted for an instantly iconic look, wearing a Tom Ford dress. styled by Tom Eerebout. The dress itself featured a mesh bodysuit over which hung strings of beads in various shades of black, pink, orange, turquoise and white. As Rita said Vogue during the live broadcast of the event, some of the pearls are from the 1st and 2nd century BC, making them “older than anyone else on this planet.”
Meanwhile, Taika, 48, opted for an equally effective look that complemented Rita's. Styled by Jeanne YangTaika hit the carpet in an all brown leather Marni suit with a tie and leather gloves.
This is the second Met Gala night for the couple, who hit the Met steps together last year after sharing that they were tying the knot in 2022.
The two were originally very quiet during their nuptials, with The masked singer judge sharing that she enjoyed having some privacy with her new husband.
