For just over a decade, if anyone could claim to be the center of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it was Robert Downey Jr. His Tony Stark started the whole franchise a iron man and it remained its witty core until its fulminating final bow Avengers: Endgame. That ending seemed pretty definitive, and we certainly didn't expect him to ever return to the role. But the magic of film and comics is a real thing. However, in a recent installment of variety“Actors on Actors” series by (h/t: Comic), said he's “surprisingly open-minded” about donning the suit again.

Downey told fellow Oscar nominee Jodie Foster, “It's crazy in my DNA. Probably the most me-like character I've ever played, even though it's way cooler than me. I've come back amazingly open to the idea… It's crazy because we're actually looking at the pictures we were taking, making sure, “Do we still look good?” I'm like, “Looking good.”
