Russell Crowe is stuck in a Madame Web debate

The gladiator the actor, who has starred in a DC film as well as Marvel productions backed by Disney and Sony, recently reflected on Dakota Johnsonthe comments that Madame Web it lost some of its artistic value because it felt to him as if it had been “made by committee”.

“I don't want to comment on what someone else might have said or what their experience is,” Russell said. He continued: “It's a gigantic machine and they make movies to a certain size. These are jobs. You know: here's your part, play the part. If you expect this to be some kind of life-changing event , I just think you're here for the wrong reasons.”

Although the 60-year-old acknowledged that the process of literally shooting a CGI-heavy superhero movie comes with its own difficulties.
