Maycee Barber Comments After UFC Vegas 107
On Sunday evening, Maycee Barber addressed the situation publicly for the first time since withdrawing from the event.
Known as ‘The Future’, she posted several images and videos showing her recent stay in a Las Vegas hospital.
“Not what I had planned for a Sunday post,” Barber wrote.
“Thank you everyone for the prayers & support. I owe an apology to the UFC, Mick Maynard, Dana White, Sean Shelby, and Erin Blanchfield.”
She concluded her message by adding, “P.S. my life isn`t messy; this is just a difficult situation. We`ll figure out what happened and I`ll return.”
Barber`s final comment appeared to be a response to earlier remarks from Blanchfield, who had described Barber`s ‘entire life as a mess’ and criticized her behavior as ‘super unprofessional’. It`s also worth noting that the day before the fight cancellation, Barber had missed weight for the first time in her UFC career.
