And she has a whole group of supporters willing to do it with her. In fact, after the former late-night host got weird, she was inundated with loving messages from friends and fellow celebrities.
“In what will come as a shock to exactly zero people,” Amber, to whom she was previously married Jan Schiltmeijer until their 2023 split, began an Instagram post on June 30, “I'm using the last day of PRIDE to come out! Be proud of who you are babes! I know I am!”
And the comedian couldn't help but quip: “I can't wait to be discriminated against for a new reason!!”
Amber's carousel of photos and videos began with an image of her smiling in a T-shirt with the word “Queer” in a rainbow, followed by a clip from a Pride parade and photos with a number of friends.
Following the 45-year-old's news, the comments section of her post was soon flooded with love.
